It’s going All Too Well for the NFL as Travis Kelce’s rumored romance with Taylor Swift continues to heat up.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s mother, Donna Kelce, has weighed in on the league capitalizing off her son’s love life.
“The NFL is laughing all the way to the bank,” Donna said on the “Got It From My Momma” podcast Friday. “Good for them. They’re getting the ramifications of everything.”
Since the “Blank Space” singer’s first appearance at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 24 — where she joined Donna in a suite — NFL’s viewership has spiked to new heights.
This proved to be the case last week, when the 12-time Grammy winner, 33, attended the Oct. 1 Chiefs-Jets game with a star-studded group of A-list pals, including Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Blake Lively, and Sophie Turner.
Viewership of the game raked in an average of 27 million viewers, making it the second-most-watched game this year since the Super Bowl.
Meanwhile, Travis, 33, saw an astounding 400% increase in the sales of his #87 Chiefs jersey.
“I can tell you this, that they’ve told me personally that the Kelce family has done more good PR for football than they could’ve paid a million dollars to a PR firm,” said Donna, who is also mom to Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.
“It’s just because we’re relatable. We’re just normal. We’re genuine. We’re authentic, and we don’t put any airs on or try to be someone that we’re not.”
Asked about Swifties tuning in for her son’s games, Donna said they’ll probably “know more about football than half the people that watch football right now.”
“I had one dad who (direct messaged) me and he said, ‘I can finally – finally my daughter is watching football with me, Donna recalled.
Elsewhere, Donna opened up about having so much publicity follow her and her sons around since Swift started attending games.
“I feel like I’m in an alternate universe, because it’s something I’ve never been involved with before,” she said on the podcast, adding that the last few weeks have been a “whirlwind.”
“I thought it would be over at that point, but it seems to just continue, and every week just seems to trump the week before,” she added. “So it’s really kind of wild, a wild ride.”
It comes as Travis and Kelce discussed the NFL’s coverage of Swift’s new interest in football, with the “Catching Kelce” star admitting that even he thinks it’s too much.
“They are overdoing it a bit for sure, especially my situation,” Travis said on their “New Heights” podcast when asked by Jason about the coverage. “They’re just trying to have fun with it.”
NBC flashed to Swift in the suite at MetLife Stadium 17 times during the Chiefs’ 23-20 Sunday night win over the Jets.
“Damn, that’s crazy,” Travis said. “That’s like once a drive. Mom told me everyone was enjoying themselves.”
“They are not there to get thrown on the TV,” Travis continued. “You never know you get caught throwing down a big old cheeseburger and you look like an idiot. There are certain things you just don’t want to be on TV at all times.”
