On September 4, 2023, Veloce, the top global digital racing media network, will introduce its Utility and Governance token, VEXT.
VEXT will debut exclusively on ByBit, one of the top three cryptocurrency exchanges worldwide.
Together with Polygon Labs, a global software development business, Veloce has developed an Ethereum scaling architecture that enables quick, affordable, and secure transactions across Polygon protocols.
On September 4th, Mike Blank, COO at Polygon Labs, and Rupert Svendsen-Cook, CEO of Veloce Media Group, will discuss the VEXT integration with Polygon on stage during Korea Blockchain Week.
Rupert Svendsen-Cook, Chief Executive Officer at Veloce Media Group, said: “To build the first decentralised global sporting group and ultimately evolve our entire ecosystem into Web3, we needed the ultimate blockchain architecture – the Polygon blockchain is exactly that. Leveraging the Polygon protocols combined with our incredibly engaged community and utility will be a formidable combination for the industry.”
Aishwary Gupta, Head of Payments & Fintech at Polygon Labs, said: “We are thrilled by Veloce’s decision to harness the power of the Polygon blockchain for their visionary Web3 project. Their ambition for the future of sports and gaming is truly inspiring. As Veloce continues to be a pioneer, we eagerly anticipate the seamless integration of their well-established Web2 community into the thriving Polygon ecosystem”.
Holders of Veloce’s token, VEXT, are given the opportunity to join the Veloce ecosystem, which will have a significant impact on the decentralized assets within the Veloce Media Group, including all of the company’s gaming and non-gaming teams, producers, leagues, and content.
Veloce will use all of its resources to create a really forward-looking sports and media group on the Blockchain, with the launch phase already providing a number of features and a roadmap delivering game-changing functionality.
The VEXT platform will evolve to include product and merchandise privileges, token holder event access, interoperability across all features, six gamified staking pools, integrated games, and voting and proposition capabilities.
