What The Truck? This 2008 GMC Sierra Has 6 Doors And 9 Seats

The GMC Sierra offers professional grade practicality, while the Yukon has seating for up to eight. Worlds are now colliding with this insane pickup that offers the best of both models.

As you can see, this 2008 Sierra 3500 is a sight to behold as it rides on a “custom medium duty frame” and features an extended cab with six doors. That’s an apt term as the rear doors are sourced from an extended cab pickup and open rearward. They’re joined by four traditional doors from a crew cab configuration.

Besides the unique cab, the truck has been outfitted with Fusion bumpers, Rigid LED lights, and a mesh grille. The model also sports a modified bed that houses two exhaust stacks as well as two removable fuel tanks.

More notably, the pickup has a Fabtech lift and 22-inch wheels that are wrapped in 37-inch Toyo Open Country tires. We can also see chrome mirrors as well as aftermarket taillights.

While the exterior comes across as a little trashy, the same can’t be said about the cabin as it features two-tone leather as well as three rows of bench seats. The model also has an Alpine infotainment system, A-pillar gauges, and an assortment of other upgrades.

If the exhaust stacks didn’t make it clear, this particular truck is powered by a 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel engine. While it originally produced 365 hp (272 kW / 370 PS) and 660 lb-ft (894 Nm) of torque, the model has been equipped with a Pacific Performance Engineering tuner. Regardless, the engine is paired to an Allison transmission and a four-wheel drive system.

The truck will go under the hammer at Barrett-Jackson’s Palm Beach auction next month and it’s being offered without reserve. There’s no estimate, but the listing says the model was “recently refreshed” with “top-of-the-line parts.”
