What’s The Most Expensive Stuff You’ve Ever Bought For Your Car?

A modified white Chevrolet Silverado High Country stopped on West Craig Road, North Las Vegas, Nevada. It appears to be a 2016-18 1500 with tow mirrors, "Carolina squat" style lift, and aftermarket rims.

It’s fair to say that if you’re reading this, you love cars. You probably spend a lot of time on your car, spending money to make the experience more enjoyable or just adding a personal touch to your ride. Some additions become so second nature when you’re at the wheel that you forget they weren’t stock. Other purchases were apprehensible at best and compostable at worst.

What’s the most expensive stuff that you have bought for your car? I want to hear from all the people who have bought hydraulic kits for their vehicles. Was it everything you hoped for, or did you Carolina Squat your way to a repair bill longer than a pharmacy receipt? Did you splurge on a set of aftermarket rims that couldn’t find any other way to get cheaper? I want to know what was worth the financial inconvenience and what had you reaching for a parachute.

While I’m open-minded to nearly every mod decision, people installing diesel modifications can get in the sea. In August last year, tuning company Sinister Diesel was fined $1 million for selling parts that could defeat emission controls. In this scenario, I could care less about the damage done to the environment. I’m angrier about the assholes using its products to roll coal and harass the populace at large.

Don’t hesitate to share your most expensive purchase and how it went, unless you’re going to advocate for rolling coal.
