What are the essential numbers everyone needs to know about the Wuthering Waves pity system?
Wuthering Waves is a free-to-play action RPG game with over 15 unique characters to play. While some characters, known as Resonators, can be obtained simply by playing the game, many others are locked behind time-limited banners.
To acquire these characters, players need to either save Astrites for months or spend money to expedite the process. Understanding the pity system is crucial for optimizing your chances of obtaining these coveted Resonators.
Here is a ONE Esports guide to the Wuthering Waves pity system.
Wuthering Waves pity system explained
Players can draw in these Convenes by using Tides. One tide costs 160 Asite.
WUTHERING WAVES CONVENE TIDES | DESCRIPTION |
Lustrous Tides | Novice Convene and Character and Weapon Permanent Convene |
Radiant Tide | Character Event Convene |
Forging Tide | Weapon Event Convene |
To secure a guaranteed character in the Character Event Convene, players must draw a minimum of 80 pulls.
However, even after this investment, there’s only a 50% chance of obtaining the desired character or a standard 5-star character from the banner.
Moreover, if players happen to acquire a non-banner character during these pulls, they receive a guaranteed Convene Resonator the next time they draw a 5-star during the ongoing Convenes period.
The dynamics differ for Weapon Convenes, where players secure the exclusive weapon without any 50/50 chance involved.
For newcomers, a Novice Convene is offering a guaranteed Resonator within 50 draws.
It’s important to note that this banner only allows for 10x pulls with a 20% discount, meaning players need only eight Lustrous Tides to engage with this Convene.
