Andre M. Bing of Chesapeake Shot and Killed Six People Inside Walmart Shooting

Flowers are piling up at a Walmart in Chesapeake Virginia for a longtime employee opened fire inside the store killing six people before killing himself. The question this morning is why investigators are looking through all of the evidence for possible answers.

A community reeling after police says 31-year-old Andre M. Bing of Chesapeake shot and killed six people inside a local Walmart before turning the gun on himself.

Andre M. Bing walked into an employee break room in a Chesapeake Walmart and started shooting Tuesday night.

Just after 10 o’clock Tuesday night. The first 911 calls came from inside this Chesapeake Virginia Walmart by 11:20 pm.

Police declare the scene safe with no risk to the general public. The city of Chesapeake provided the photos of 5 of the victims, Lorenzo Gamble, Brian Pendleton, Kellie Pyle, Randall Blevins, and Tyneka Johnson also among those who lost their lives.

City officials say the sixth victim is a 16 year old whose name and picture has been withheld due to his age. Of the seven people who were killed three including the shooter were found dead in the break room. One victim was found dead toward the front of the store and three other people were transported to hospitals but later died their police reporting several others injured. One of those injured is still in the hospital.

Now Walmart has set up a resource center for its employees and families are things like counseling services, meals, and simply a place to connect with each other
