Fujifilm Launches 6 New X-Series Cameras in India, Starting Rs. 48,499

Fujifilm has expanded its X-series line up in India by adding six new models to its roster. The ones of prime importance are the X-Pro2, X-E2S and X70, which were announced at this year’s CES tradeshow. The others are slightly older models, like the X-T10, X-100T and X-A2, which were launched sometime last year.

The X-Pro2 is the most expensive one out of the bunch at Rs. 1,47,999. This mirrorless interchangeable lens camera features a 24.3-megapixel APS-C sensor, PDAF, X Processor Pro image processor, weather resistant body and a hybrid viewfinder system, which offers both optical and electronic viewfinders. It also boasts of an ISO range of 200 to 12800, shutter speed of 1/8000 seconds and 8fps burst shooting. Video recording maxes out at 1080p, 60fps and you get a 3-inch display with a 1.62 million dot resolution.

The X-E2S costs Rs. 61,999 and features a 16-megapixel APS-C sensor, ISO range of 200-6400, full-HD video recording at 60fps and RAW format support. It retains the original rangefinder-style design of the X-E2 but adds improvements to the grip, electronic shutter and a better user interface.

The X70 is a very interesting option as it’s the smallest and lightest APS-C camera in Fujifilm’s range, making it ideal for street photography. Priced at Rs. 61,999, it features an 18.5mm wide-angle fixed lens with a single focal length of f/2.8. You also get a 16.3-megapixeL sensor, 3-inch touchscreen display with can be tilted and fast autofocus of 0.1 second.

The X-T10 was announced last May and has only now made its way to India. It will cost you Rs. 1,15,999 and features new dials, a tilting 3-inch LCD display, interchangeable lenses, 16.3-megapixel sensor and 8fps burst shooting. The X-A2 seems like a late entry here considering Fujifilm only recently announced the X-A3 . The camera boasts of a LCD screen that can flip all the way backwards, thereby making it easy to snap a selfie. This will set you back Rs. 48,499.

Last but not least, we have the X-100T, which was first announced in September 2014. Available now in India at Rs. 1,15,999, this premium compact camera features 23mm fixed-lens with a f/2 aperture. It also boasts of a hybrid viewfinder, 16.3-megapixel APS-C sensor, and a 3-inch LCD display.
