- Login to ChatGPT.
- Click on the ChatGPT 3.5 option at the top.
- Go to the GPT-4 model interface.
- Within the interface, look for the plugins sections.
- Activate or enable plugins.
- Type in a DeFi-related prompt to ensure it is active.
Analyzing Crypto Projects Using ChatGPT
ChatGPT has many unique features. Now, we will use ChatGPT to get information about top protocols in each sector. Here are 3 steps, and promps, you need to follow:
Step 1: Reviewing top protocols and their TVLs
Prompt: “Using tables, provide the top protocols in each sector and add information about their TVL.”
When you get your response, review the tables and check the categories.
Step 2: Comparing results using token information
We also need to do a comparison. We are doing this because comparing will give you insights into these projects. To do so, ask ChatGPT to add five more projects to each sector like this:
Prompt: “Add five more projects to each sector.”
When you get your response, you’ll have to ask ChatGPT to compare their TVL to the revenue generated. This approach will bring out the best among the five projects.
You need to get the project’s token distribution information. To do this, ask ChatGPT for the project tokenomics. When you know the tokenomics of a project, you can tell if it has potential.
Then, ask ChatGPT to do the same with the other promising projects you got from your research.

Now that you’ve got information on their tokenomics, let’s do a comparative analysis while still using ChatGPT. So, you have to ask ChatGPT to do a comparative analysis using the tokenomics data of your research projects. Here’s what to put on ChatGPT:
Prompt: Carry out a comparative analysis using the tokenomics data of the ‘name of the project’ and ‘name of the project’ to see which token has more potential.
You’ll get your results and conclude which token has the best utility. ChatGPT’s results from the comparative analysis would reveal the token with the best utility.
Extra Tip
To get early information on projects with smaller TVLs, use ChatGPT to search for protocols with lesser TVLs. Also, check their TVL to gain ratio. Then, you can get the tokenomics information on ChatGPT and use the procedures in this article to get your result.
