The couple wed in front of just 15 guests in the grounds of a beachfront villa in Barbados in November 2022, where they exchanged “imperfect” rings designed by Repair Shop colleague Richard Talman.

But less than two years later, Lisa Marie has now called time on the relationship.

In a tearful video to her fans on social media, she explained how she is taking things “one day at a time”.

She said: “OK, I’m going to try this for the 40th time without crying.

“I just want to say thank you so much to everybody who sent a message and has been so nice.

“I still don’t realise that this is actually real because if you knew how much I loved my husband and how much I’ve tried to make this work over and over again.

“I just wanted it so much and I just couldn’t be enough. I couldn’t get it right.”

Lisa Marie said she thinks she “should be angry” – but instead she is “just sad”.

She added: “I know there’s a lot of you out there that resonate with what I’m going through right now and I wonder when you get to the point that you just don’t feel so bad about yourself.

“When you don’t feel like you just don’t understand why you just weren’t enough.

“Why everything you did just didn’t seem to be enough.

“Big breaths. One day at a time right? One day at a time.”

While the split came as a surprise to fans, presenter Jay might have implied all was not going swimmingly in a recent tweet.

In the post from 19 March, he shared a photo of his shoes on a red carpet along with a heartfelt caption.

Jay wrote: “THOUGHT OF THE DAY. Life has a way of tripping you up when you least expect it.

“You must learn from this experience and get ready to move, differently.”

Fast forward six weeks, influencer Lisa marked the end of their marriage with an online statement.

She said: “I don’t know how to say this because it’s still really raw.

“I probably should be really angry but I’m just incredibly sad about the whole thing right now. I don’t think I’ve ever cried so much.

“I will admit I’m crying as I type this as I can’t believe this is even real.

“I hope you don’t mind if I just have a few days trying to figure out my life as I’m currently in a spare room with a few essentials.

“I don’t know what else to say. All my love, A very broken Lisa-Marie x”

It came a day after Blades announced that he would be taking time away from social media to process his grief following the death of his uncle.

In a video on his instagram account he said: ”I’m coming off social media for a bit, and I’ll be back in a bit.

“Going to go and get some therapy and just chill out.

“Please, take care of each other, take care of yourself, and I’ll see you guys soon.”

Richard Brathwaite, 72, was found dead on Cromwell Road in Wembley around lunchtime on 21 March after his next door neighbour Derek Brown, who lived on the same street, allegedly knifed him.
