Isuzu dealers get specialist training to improve accessory sales

A new dealer training programme offered to Isuzu UK franchisees is aimed at helping them increase their sales of accessories.

Following the training, certain Isuzu dealerships will become dedicated hubs for ARB 4×4 accessories, which cater for the needs of camping and off-roading enthusiasts.

An Australian brand known for its 4×4 equipment, ARB offers a range of products from rooftop tents and electric coolboxes to off-road suspension systems and spotlights.

Since Isuzu UK launched the latest generation D-Max pick-up truck in 2021 its dealers have targeted lifestyle truck buyers as well as trade and agriculture customers, and the ability to customise their chosen truck is attractive to many owners.

“We are thrilled to introduce the ARB HUB dealer programme, developed together with ARB UK. This initiative underscores our commitment to providing our customers with the best-in-class products and services while expanding our presence in the lifestyle market,” said Darren James, group resource director at IM Group, which distributes Isuzu pick-ups in the UK.

A spokesman added: “With the support of ARB UK, the Japanese pick-up brand can further engage in the market of adventurers, providing them with premium accessories, whether taking on the most difficult terrains or camping in remote locations.”

Matt McConaghy, commercial director at ARB UK, said: “We are excited to work with Isuzu UK on the ARB HUB programme. This initiative will enable us to reach a broader audience of off-road enthusiasts and provide them with access to our premium range of products and services.”
