In the United States, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes had its global premiere yesterday night, May 2. The fortunate few who have already seen it have already shared their first thoughts on the new film on Twitter.
The majority of reviewers agreed that Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is a compelling continuation of the plot even if it is not the finest movie in the series.

“Between Rise, Dawn, War, and now Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, this series continues to be one of the very best franchise reboots out there,” Perri Nemiroff of Collider said. “As anticipated, Wes Ball was the ideal filmmaker to replace him.
