  • Tuner 1016 Industries gives a facelift to its carbon aero program for the Ferrari SF90 Stradale / Spider.
  • New components include the vented “race fenders” and the larger “race spoiler” at the back.
  • Existing customers are welcome to upgrade, while the complete package costs $75,140.

Ferrari SF90 owners aren’t short on aftermarket options to spruce up their plug-in hybrid supercar. In a bid to stand out among the tuning enthusiasts, US-based firm 1016 Industries has given their SF90 body kit a makeover with fresh carbon fiber elements, adding a touch of extra visual flair.

The standout feature of the Carbon Aero Program Version 2 is the introduction of “race fenders.”These incorporate integrated vents, bridging the gap between the standard SF90 and the more aggressive SF90 XX Stradale/Spider in terms of road presence. Additionally, there’s a fresh upper front lip adjacent to the bumper intakes and a new “race spoiler” at the rear, extending over a notably larger area of the rear deck.

The new parts can be combined with the existing side skirts, front splitter, hood vents, rear diffuser, and roof spoiler by 1016 Industries. Crafted from plain weave carbon fiber, these components are claimed to match the quality of Ferrari’s own carbon bits. Beyond the visual drama, the modifications allegedly make the SF90 “lighter and more aerodynamic than ever before” and can be combined with aftermarket wheels as in the pictured examples.

According to 1016 Industries, the V2 program is compatible with the V1, which means that existing customers are welcome to upgrade their rides. The visual modifications are suitable for both the SF90 Stradale and the drop-top SF90 Spider. In both cases, the tuner makes sure that the conversion is fully reversible and completed without any wear and tear on the vehicles, so their value in the used market won’t be affected.

The tuner doesn’t offer any performance enhancements, as the stock SF90 is already powerful enough from the factory. The plug-in hybrid setup comprises a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine and a trio of electric motors producing a combined 986 hp (735 kW / 1,000 PS). That’s less impressive than the 1,016 hp (758 kW/1,030 PS) of the SF90 XX but good enough for a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in less than 2.5 seconds.

The entire kit comes with a price tag of $75,140, which matches the cost of a brand-new Porsche 718 Boxster. But fear not, if your wallet is feeling a bit light (which we doubt if you own a Ferrari) or, more realistically speaking, prefer flying under the radar, 1016 Industries graciously offers each part individually. Splurge on the rear diffuser for a mere $12,800, or opt for the budget-friendly hood vents at $6,200. Don’t worry, all parts are made in the US and will be ready for your SF90 in just a few short weeks.
